Do I have to have a picture on my profile?

While pictures make the community lively and fun, it is not necessary for you to post a picture.

How do I upload a photo to my profile?

Click on "Upload Photo." Locate your photo on your hard drive and upload your photo. You can select up to three photos to have in your profile for others to see. Select one photo as your main photo for others to view. Your photo must be less than 100K. See photo guidelines.

Someone removed my picture! Why?

If your photo does not comply with the Diet.com photo guidelines, your picture may be removed. Please see the photo guidelines for details or email membersupport08 [at] diet [dot] com.

Private Information

How can I make my profile private and invisible?

Go into the Edit Profile page and click on Edit next to your personal information. You can then set your status as Private, Semi-Private or Public. Selecting Private will block the view of designated information to all visitors, Semi-Private information will only be visible to friends and family on your buddy lists, and Public information will be visible to all visitors to Diet.com.

Private Messages are just that...Private! No other member can read what is being sent.

Changing Profile Information

How do I edit the information in my profile?

To change your profile, click on My Profile located in the top left corner of your screen after you sign in. Then click "Edit"

How do I change my user name?

To change your diet.com username, login and go to your homepage. Then, click on "My Profile" (found under the "Home" button), then "Edit" in the "About Me" section. From there, you can change your username, as well as update any of your other personal information.

How do I change the email address associated with my account?

To change the email address associated with your Diet.com account, first login and go to your homepage. Then, click on "My Account" (found under the "Personality" button). From there, you can change your email address as well as your password.

Don’t forget to add that new email address to the weekly newsletter list so you’ll continue getting great tips and information right in your inbox! To do this, log out and type your new email address into the box under "Get FREE Diet Tips". This is found under the BMI Calculator on the right side of the main page.

How can I add a signature in my profile?

Click "Edit" in the "About Me" section of your profile. In the "signature" section, enter the signature you wish to have appear at the end of your message board posts. Then, click "Submit Changes."

How do I change my weight and goals?

Click on "My Profile" located in the top left corner of your screen after you sign in, then click edit on the "My Diet Profile" box. There you can change any of your weight loss information

How can I view another member’s information?

If the other member has set their profile settings to public you may view their diary, tracker, weight and goals.

How do I search for other users?

You can find Diet.com members by clicking on "Find a Diet.com Member" on the "My Community" module. This is found on your homepage.

How do I find out what my user ID is?

Go the "login" page. Click "I forgot my login!" and type in the email address you used when registering with Diet.com. This will send your user name and password to your email address.
